Pros
There are none..... (pros) as the elephants welfare doesn't come first, money does. Two young elephants died in early 2017, after ONLY 1 YEAR in the "care" of the sanctuary after being retired from a zoo... One Rosie, (only 47 yrs) was put down on New Year's Eve. How was she allowed to suffer from "chronic health problems" to the point of death? This is supposed to be geared toward excellent elephant CARE. This is BS... and should be investigated in depth. SOMEONE needs to question this place. Hadari was ONLY 36 years old but now he's dead? Are we to believe he had a cardiac arrest and yet these animals are supposed to be monitored, checked, evaluated, and cared for, yet--- no one seemed to care about Rosie's chronic illnesses or be aware that Hadari had heart problems? Get REAL... this is TWO young elephants dying within two days of each other... all they were concerned about was bad publicity... WHAT A SHAME.
Cons
This place is not longer a sanctuary for animals but income for people. Tara should be returned to her RIGHTFUL owner... the founder of this place, and not held "hostage" by this so called "sanctuary" as they ARE NOT Tara's Owner!! It's very sad that money is the driving force here and not the animal's care, so sad.
