This company is run by people of poor character who seem intent on misleading you and taking advantage wherever they can. HR is not there to support you, but rather to serve senior leadership, often at your expense. In my experience, this even extended to attempts to pressure or mislead employees into signing things that are clearly only beneficial to the company, not to you.
The culture is extremely toxic, and it comes as no surprise that the company struggles to stay competitive. It simply reflects the kind of environment they’ve created.
