Pros

not bad location, near to mtr station; friendly collegues (best wishes to them) Collegues mostly mainland background (if it's a concern to you) A note for newcomers: this company has a trust and ESOP background, so securities are just a small part of the business, no trading just order placing

Cons

Low pay and bonus; Limited exit opportunities; Deliberately challenging internal exam which stops you passing the probation; Very long probation(6 months) and notice period(3 months); Toxic senior management without manners(or even literacy); Very low level of benefits including but not limited to strictly monitored one-hour lunch break, no OT pay, very normal insurance plan, expired instant noodle at 'snack bar', few annual leave days; High turnover rate, average tenure is half to 1 year

Pros

1) Rapid hiring process due to high turnover. 2) Average salary, which does not compensate for the nonsense faced. 3) Huge learning curves offered by the management, given you manage to get on with them, but beware they ain't ordinary people with reasonable values and morals.

Cons

First of all, do yourself a favour by viewing ALL reviews about this company and don't be fooled by a few obviously "staged" positive reviews. This company (which also has other affiliations under the name "THE CORE...") presents significant red flags, as confirmed by numerous reviews highlighting its toxicity. What began as a seemingly normal environment quickly became a traumatic experience for many. Key issues include: 1) Extremely high turnover rate, which resulted in an abnormally long notice period (so ensure you always check it before quitting your job to join this company). 2) Insufficient supervision/handover/training. 3) Unstructured work processes and communication. 4) Poor information centralisation and documentation. 5) Toxic and petty management culture (including the unimaginable). 6) Questionable business practices affecting employees and clients. 7) Retaliation for taking minimal leave. 8) Very calculated and harsh employee policy and few benefits. The list goes on, but I'd run out of space to list them all out here. All in all, I sincerely hope that nobody will fall victim to this company as we did.
