Everything else. The CEO is the most toxic unhealthy Person I’ve ever worked with. He yells at people both in private and public meetings, makes them feel small. I would go home crying every night and was TERRORIZED to go to work every morning because of him. There was zero structure whatsoever. I was hired as stylist and because of how toxic the environment is, the turn around is insane, so after one month my boss quit and I was asked to do her job (e-commerce director/analyst) with no pay raise, no training and absolutely no knowledge of her duties. I had to self taught a lot of online merchandising and Google analytics and the CEO just expected me to know it all after one week. I obviously couldn’t cause I’ve never done or worked as an e-commerce analyst or online merchandiser, so every other day/ every week I would be yelled at because obviously I wasn’t performing as he would have liked. I would be compared to other co workers and be told why couldn’t I be more like them. I was so verbally abused that I started to feel sick when going in to work. Therefore I took a week of sick day because of that. I eventually got a call from the CEO saying “nicely” that he was gonna fire me. This was my first job out of college so I didn’t know any better and I was completely taken advantage of. If this would have happened now I would have sued him big time. He’s the kind of person who thinks he can get away with everything and he’s very full of himself. He loves when people adore him but that actually shows how insecure of himself he is. Now with time I just feel bad for him. Oh, also, I worked abroad for a month during my employment there and he never payed me for that. He refused. All my coworkers were miserable as well, no one liked to be there, they just did it for the time being until they could find a better place. I’ve never seen anyone who stayed more than a few months. Do not even consider working here, trust me.
