Pros

Helps you learn what you DON’T want in a job.

Cons

I echo the sentiment of the negative reviews. Please do not ignore them thinking that “it can’t be that bad” or “it’s just a few disgruntled employees” like I did. They do not even give you the full picture. Horrible pay, no benefits, mean and unreasonable boss. Also, the turnover rate is so high, so I would not trust the few 4 and 5 star reviews claiming “it’s what you make of it.” I would not be surprised if those are being posted to boost the rating. The boss is also every kind of “-phobic” you could possibly be and treats staff like the help. If you do end up working here and have to run an in person event, make sure you pack a sandwich because you won’t be allowed to eat any food for the guests. You can do better. Save yourself 6 months off misery and find something else.

Pros

-Exciting events - team was nice - getting to see beautiful upper east side homes for events ( pre covid)

Cons

- work was long - unpaid internship... stipend barely covered anything - CEO was just a rich woman thinking she's making a difference but truthfully this is being used as a tax write off honestly

Pros

Invite you to staff events if in the New York area.

Cons

Not much work to do, but if proactive, can have more responsibilities.
