The Coca-Cola Company

Engaged employer

Soul-sucking life-eating employer that doesn't pay near the normal market expectations for talent. - Data Quality Analyst The Coca-Cola Company Employee Review

Pros

Great brands and a strong sense of commitment to being the best in the industry. Corporate culture is very open to hearing employees express any grievances. Benefits package is very competitive. Response to historical discrimination lawsuits has created a very inclusive culture.

Cons

Pay is generally 10-25% lower than the market that is not sufficiently offset by the great benefits. Jobs almost always have higher expectations than usual for that role. Job expectations are continually changed so that reviews are nearly meaningless. Advancement is very difficult and usually requires changing departments or relocating.

Pros

Cola’s global reputation and iconic brand provide opportunities to work on large-scale, meaningful projects with diverse teams. While management has areas for improvement, the company’s resources, iconic building, and the scale of projects give you experiences that stand out

Cons

While the Coca-Cola workspace and my coworkers were pleasant enough, the management experience was deeply disappointing. I’ve worked at several companies, and I’ve never felt so undervalued in terms of talent recognition and support. Management lacked proper training processes and often treated employees in a way that felt condescending rather than supportive. Overall, it created a daily environment that felt draining, and it’s something I hope Coca-Cola addresses for future talent
