Pros
Remote capability is the only pro.
Cons
Cigna has a great work/life balance depending on which department you work for. In my department, a day off can lead to 100+ emails and escalations and special requests. We have backups, but not every request will be sent to them. Taking off is really a gamble. There is a high turnover, which adds to our workload. Some departments use a MOS, which is system that requires you to log in and out of each task. If you take more time than what the alloted time for that task is set, you are required to explain why it took you longer. It's pitched to be a great tool to identify tasks that are too time consuming and find alternative ways to help, but I haven't seen 3 improvements to a process that we, as a team, communicated is tedious. In addition, not all departments use this system and we never received an explanation as to why they are not required to. In short, this department specifically works you to the bones and you receive little reward or no appreciation. The supervisors are great and appear to understand, but Management is about money and money only.
