Pros

If you did your work and stayed productive you would pretty much be left alone. I didn't has as much of a problem as my peers, but I had co-workers that would have anxiety daily.

Cons

Many of the customers don't like you calling asking personam information so you have to spend each call overexplaining the reasons for contacting them. Micromanagement and constant watching you screens and phones. You get audited weekly and then have to listen to any missed audits in your monthly meetings with managers and team leads. If you are off phone queue more than 5 minutes you will be instant messaged to inquire why you're not on the phone. God forbid you have a bathroom emergency.

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
