Pros

After shifting their priorities and business model a couple years ago, The Buddy Group moved to a much smaller core team and revamped management. This core team has focused on quality of work and delivering truly industry disrupting results for their clients.

Cons

Smaller core team leads to large work loads occasionally (but this issue occurs with most creative agencies).

Pros

Great people. Great clients. Miles of opportunity. Senior management is empathic. They listen to and value smart thinking, hard work and creative risk taking. They are reasonable to deal with and have such a strong culture of respect and community. They are growing.

Cons

Communication across the board could improve.

Pros

A few talented people and... Well- they have a few talented people (at least until they leave).

Cons

The senior management staff here is abysmal. Seriously- they have no clue what they are doing & change directions in their style & message every few months (or sometimes minute by minute). Lack of leadership, lack of talent, lack of respect, lack of professionalism & lack of integrity about sum this all up. Probably one of the most unprofessional places you will ever walk into. If you are missing high school with all the drama between the cheerleaders & the nerds & really could care less about your actual career & just want to collect a check for playing ping pong all day...this place is for you. The place looks like a college dorm room...only worse. Like a college dorm room with all donated furniture & a tacky camping theme carried out to nausea throughout. We get it...it's a camp. The clients are treated like a nuisance & are promised things that have no realistic way of getting done. They over promise & under deliver on many projects. Thus- have a difficult time retaining & growing clientele. They use a skeleton crew, that works night & day to try to deliver.. albeit with a product full of bugs & glitches (due mostly to rushed time frames & lack of testing). Their CEO is a personable, nice & actually pretty smart guy. However, he is too busy playing golf, shutting his eyes & ignoring the incompetent hands that he is leaving his company in. Sorry to be harsh but it's true.
