Pros
The clothes there are very cute and trendy. Fellow employees are often friendly. The job isn’t hard at all, from the cash register systems to filling online orders it’s been the easiest job I have ever worked. The senior and district management is great, I used to love it when they would come to visit the store because they were incredibly helpful and never made the sales associates nervous or stupid for asking questions.
Cons
You are paid a base rate, which is normally very low, and get paid commission for the rest. You make 3% of what you sell, so if you don’t sell anything you will probably have a poor paycheck. Store managers can be touchy. Some are nice and some take their job a bit too seriously. They really want you to basically bombard the customers with questions or suggestions, the main focus is to upsell. The employee discount is ok at 40%, but the clothes are so expensive that even with the discount you are still paying a pretty penny for a pair of jeans.
