Pros

Great work-life balance and flexible schedule.

Cons

Claims to be fast pace but it’s really just disorganized. AMs made their own rules in order to benefit their pockets. Projects setup for failure due to false promises on AM behalf, improperly scope, or limited amount time to properly access resource and availability. Lots of pressure to get work completed but plenty underlying issues. Terrible communication all around. Silos between practice group. Beware of cliques that resulted in unequal treatment of employees and a lot of behind the back workplace chatters. The benefits are sub-par and not a lot of opportunity for growth.

Pros

Leadership, accessibility to management and peers. Very little hierarchy non-sense. Small family environment and coworkers are accountable to each other and depend on each other.

Cons

Like many small and lean businesses, it can be hard work sometimes and not a good fit for someone just wanting a job. This is not a place to go unnoticed and every one must contribute without micro management. Several negative glassdoor reviews that don't make sense and glassdoor will not correct. There was confusion during an acquisition that left several frustrated people in disparate divisions thinking they worked for Broadleaf Group, but they did not. Broadleaf is independently owned and only has employees in Texas.

Pros

The initial atmosphere at the company was welcoming, with a strong sense of team spirit and camaraderie. Early on, the morale was high, and I felt supported by my colleagues. There are some genuinely talented and hardworking people in the organization who make the work environment enjoyable when you work directly with them.

Cons

Over time, the company seemed to struggle with internal decision-making processes. The CEO's leadership style can often be reactive, and decisions appeared to be influenced heavily by a close-knit group, which sometimes led to a lack of consistency and clarity in direction. I observed that the organization is in a rebuilding phase, which can result in a lot of instability and confusion for employees. Change can be positive, but it felt like it created a lot of uncertainty. One of the most challenging aspects was the office politics. While people may be friendly on the surface, I found that there was a lot of behind-the-scenes gossip and backstabbing, which made the atmosphere less comfortable over time. In my final months, I felt the work environment shifted, and at times it felt like a hostile place to work, with tensions and a lack of transparency leading to frustration.
