Pros

Benefits were good, office was clean.

Cons

CEO rarely in office, usually on vacation or abroad in Italy. When she was in the office you can expect her to be screaming at someone for doing something when she wasn’t there, which is most of the time. The employees here gossip like crazy and I would often hear my own supervisor gossiping about me - even though I was one cubicle away from her. Pay was super low and it felt like they took advantage of me being a fresh grad. I was also deadnamed consistently and my supervisor told me it “wasn’t important” for people to use my correct name. I’m Trans and didn’t feel the need to disclose that information but it just goes to show the lack of respect. No C-level POC officers at all. I got extremely sick and was bedridden for two weeks. When I got back to work, my supervisor hounded me for documentation proving I was sick. It was an awful experience all around. I didn’t even make a year - I was happy to leave without even having a job lined up.

Pros

Diverse clientele Access to a wide range of resources for clients Opportunity to provide practical and more emotional-based care in tandem.

Cons

Working with high-risk clients will lead to burnout and desensitization Supervision was inconsistent Calls for social-justice based intervention but this was often not encouraged by work-place community.
