Pros

Make lovely Artisan bread but at expense of treating employees as common day slaves. Underpays hungarian and Polish staff compared to other employees.

Cons

employees need to work 9 hr shifts with only 1/2 hr break. They are not allowed to wear work uniform in kitchen so this takes 10 min to take off and on, hence only 20 min break for 9 hour hard manual labour shift. tiny kitchen for 500 employees. Underpays hungarian and Polish staff. No overtime rates or weekend rates.

Pros

I worked here for a while I liked the free bread and the friendly people, it was a good job and I think people care. I found that it was a bit stuck with the times but now they have investment i can see their team is growing. There is new IT leadership and my ex colleagues say it’s a positive change. I was paid ok for what I did. The company love bread, so if you are a bread fan then it might work for you.

Cons

Lean team, but I think this has changed now. No health care or premium perks. I also think the bonus was a little low compared to the job I’m in now.
