Pros
The people I worked along side with were great. Very supportive group of people including the managers at our club.
Cons
Upper management (up the corporate ladder) were horrible. During the pandemic, the company did pay us (on reduced pay) during the lockdown. I was making $17.50/hour (previously $20/hour). When the club opened back up, they kept our reduced rates rates the same instead of returning us back to our original rates. It wasn't just towards the lower level positions, but also the managers at the club we were working at. We were not only short-staffed because of the pandemic & people leaving, but we also were expected to run at maximum capacity. All of my coworkers were getting burnt-out. On top of that, I worked there for 4 years and didn't receive a single raise. When I told them i would leave, they said they would give me a promotion $5 raise. But I would only make that raised rate only when I punched in under management. Bay Club is a corporation that doesn't care about their workers. They've had multiple lawsuits filed against them in the past and high turnover rates because they consider their workers easily replaceable.
