Pros

- Lots of paid time off - Benefits are fantastic - Great work-life balance (it took a pandemic for senior leadership to be ok with letting employees work from home, but at least they do now) - Can be a great place to grow your career and depending on your department, it can be really fun - Mission-driven organization that is really working to improve the community - Improvements in IT infrastructure and use of technology (it's just unfortunate many employees are resistant to learning and adopting new technology)

Cons

- Leadership is extremely resistant to any type of change - Afraid to show any type of diversity - Lack of accountability - No performance-based compensation or promotions - you have some employees who work extremely hard and others who do the bare minimum, but unfortunately, everyone is compensated the same way, and pretty unfairly. - Constant complaining amongst employees and management with zero intention of improving or taking feedback seriously - Leadership constantly passing off work to lower level employees but then not listening to their new ideas - Takes a really long time for any new ideas or changes come to fruition
