What really sums up a bad company is when they instruct their staff to write positive reviews on glass door in an effort to up the ratings because they are not happy with the honest and consistent reviews made by current or ex employees. If you don’t believe me, you only have to read the recent and clearly fabricated ‘positive’ reviews that have appeared over a short period to see how they differ to other ‘real’ reviews. I think this really says something about the senior mgt team (if you can can call them managers! They certainly aren’t leaders!). I think it’s fair to say that most ‘normal’ mgt teams would be concerned about the reviews and look at ways to improve and overcome these challenges which will ultimately lead to a more successful and productive enterprise. Instead, they choose to ignore the comments and bully employees to write fabricated reviews. This not only undermines glass door but more importantly potentially provides a false impression of the company to would be job applicants or clients who may be conducting due diligence on The Anvil Group. To me, it also demonstrates dishonesty, arrogance, ignorance, lack of intelligence and most importantly, clear lack of any leadership or management.
