Pros

Strong bonds form among staff, with shared hardship making the experience more bearable.

Cons

Staff lack basic support (no accommodation or health benefits) and are pushed to work 12+ hour days, leading to injuries they can’t afford to treat, so they continue working through them. High turnover means constant new, inexperienced staff, which creates additional safety risks. Leadership prioritizes staying open and maximizing profit over safety, even in hazardous conditions like lightning or wildfires. Salaried managers are especially exploited, expected to work excessive hours, come in on days off, and remain constantly available.

Pros

Beautiful location, great tenure for trail sledding.

Cons

Gibbons (new parent company) is set on tearing the company apart in order to rinse guests of money. Compromising guest and guide safety through negligence, selfishness, and greed. No one in the company, from management to guide level has more than two years at the company and are massively irresponsible with big egos thrown around. Being on call could see you being called into work within the hour, with no pay compensation for being on call.
