Pros
The Texas Workforce offers great benefits. Depending on your department, it's a relaxed atmosphere for an office setting. Your experience will vary greatly depending on the demographic your office serves. It's very easy to leave your work at the office and not worry about it after 5pm.
Cons
The pay is pretty terrible. Local office employees take the heat from angry UI claimant's about problems that local offices have no control over. (All benefit related business is handled on the phone or web via Austin.) There is also little opportunity for advancement.
