Sales leadership and "the board" (which you'll never meet or know who is on) have no communication and no understanding of the systems that they are currently utilizing. The VP of Sales is full of hot air and will host meetings where you sit and listen because he will wax nostalgic or try to use phrases and words that he believes you don't know or understand as a way to maintain leverage over you.
