Occasional WFH, some projects are really interesting, machine shop on site
Cons
Project goals are nebulous, but not nearly as what direction the company is headed in. The pay is lower than market rates and everyone knows it, which doesn't really help department morale. But there's so much infighting, backstabbing, and backbiting among the group, including department heads and other employees, that keeping your opinion to yourself until you get somewhere else lined up is probably your smart bet. Trust no one. Lock your desk, lock your screen.
