Thank you for your valuable feedback. As you may know, we did end up closing the New York office in May of 2020 due to Covid. Prior to closing, we were fully aware of the disconnect to what was happening in the New York office compared to what the owners were being told by New York management. We were in the process of correcting the issue and then Covid hit. Even though we are a small company we are attempting to provide more training and advancement for our staff. We wish you the very best. Testing Mom

We are happy to hear you did love working with Testing Mom. As you know, the tutoring scheduling is dependent on busier times of the year. There will be times that we are very busy and other times that are slow. Unfortunately, we had to close down the NYC tutoring center and NYC office due to Covid and relocate all operations to the Texas office. We wish you the best!

Pros

Several of the students I worked with were delightful.

Cons

The scheduling process is quite challenging and inconvenient. You provide the team with your availability, and they assign students to your schedule. However, if you need to change or adjust your schedule, they make it very difficult. You are only paid for the time you spend with students. For example, if you are available from 1-5 PM on Monday afternoons and they schedule just one 30-minute session during that time, you are only paid for that half-hour. This means that despite clearing your schedule and potentially turning down other work opportunities for the remaining 3.5 hours, you only earn for 30 minutes of work. Financially, it doesn't make sense to work with this company.
