I spent my internship working on a variety of projects, gaining valuable skills and experience.
Cons
It gets a little lonely being the only intern.

Business outlook
Pros
Test Devices is a very lucrative company that works on a lot of interesting projects using cutting edge technology.
Business is very stable and basically essential to the gas turbine industry.
Cons
Management (especially engineering) is very weak.
Founder / owner does not believe in rewarding hard work and contributions to the company. In other words if you invent something or find a new way of doing something that makes or saves the company money, he doesn't believe he owes you a dime.
Wages in engineering are way below average for the knowledge and talent level required to perform the work.
No opportunities for promotion.
Lack of guidance from management as to what one can do to advance their career.
