Pros
Company mission, some good relationships, pay (if you are salaried) and benefits. Company recognition via service awards and yearly celebrations.
Cons
Lack of an accountability culture that's too focused on perception instead of high performing teams and collaboration. Like departments such as PD/R&D and Operations working together, PD consistently tries to push its mistakes over to Ops then blames them for not increasing headcount to account for a missed item in the planning phase and/or forecasts incorrectly which again puts Ops in a catch up situation. HR sides with PD which ends up causing friction within its own department. Its bad enough that part of HR already looks down on Ops and helps to pass blame that way too. They even worked on a suggestion box and backed off many of the ideas because they were too Ops focused. It 's just a running joke now with outrageous suggestions that just get ignored. The recruiters run the process because HRBP's are too focused on PD's perception.
