Pros
This review is written about Terma, Inc, which used to be Terma North America, until 2 new managers took over from outside the company. The Danish Terma is a fine company. At Terma, Inc, There is one Sr. Engineer/Architect still working there (he's 69 now) that was a great teacher, and he loved doing it. I learned a lot from him and have nothing but respect for him. As work/life balance goes, at least while it was still Terma NA, with the exception of Testing campaigns, you were expected to take time off, be with family. But then new management took over.
Cons
Where to start? Company is now Terma, Inc. New management changed the name to wipe clean their reputation. It's worse, now. They eliminated all their senior engineers (except THE Sr. Engineer/Architect, who wants to quit now) to save money. This AFTER the pandemic made it hard to find good engineers. I would LOVE to be more enlightening about the shortcomings of this new management, but glassdoor apparently doesn't allow criticism of management. Trust me and the others that are no longer there: don't work for them. Not only is management incompetent, but there are no new contracts coming in, no new products being made for the future, and once the Sr. Eng./Arch leaves, if he hasn't already, there will only be kids working there (in all fairness, they're smart, but really, a company that doesn't keep engineers around with experience is fine with repeating mistakes, and I find this unpallatable, as mistakes in this industry kill our servicemembers). I would HIGHLY recommend swiping right to the next employer.
