Cons

This organization is really good at bait-and-switch tactics. They draw people in with a promise of one thing just to underdeliver something totally different. The founders? They act like they are "men for the people" when the reality is: they sit on their butts and make others do the dirty work for them. When sh!t hits the fan and people need them, they are nowhere to be found. Not to mention they'll do anything to keep their public appearance up and wallets fat at the expense of others. I used to have a lot of respect for them. All of their awards and recognitions, newspaper articles, and features. I thought "wow this company is too good to be true." Well, it is too good to be true. The whole place is a bunch of liars and manipulators, who have no loyalty to their people. Except for their executive team of course, who only get promotions and more and more money, while the people at the bottom suffer. If I could describe the leadership team in one word, I, like many others, would choose cult. If I could give a piece of advice to someone looking to work there, I would tell them to run the other way and find a place that actually values them. Not to mention they treat their employees like they are disposable. Some of these folks gave them YEARS of their career, and they treat them like they are nothing. Throw them away and discard them like trash. They are the perfect example of corporate greed. Starting salary is already a joke, but what's even worse is how they let go of people that hit a certain salary threshold because they don't want to pay to keep them. People that dedicated their lives and careers to a place that sees them as nothing but a high price tag. The leadership is the most insincere group of people I've ever met, with no respect for their people or any transparency. Well, they act transparent but the reality is they are just lying to your face and telling you what you want to hear while blindsiding you with the exact opposite. Consistently voted as a Best Company to Work for in New York? Absolutely not. Actually laughable. And I can think of 64 different reasons why.

Pros

Amazing benefits, great coworkers, flexibility and work/life balance

Cons

Nothing for myself personally – it is fast paced, changes often internally with org structures and processes; you have to be able to be flexible and adaptable.

Pros

-Strong opportunities for growth and advancement for those willing to invest the effort. Success is earned through hard work and contribution. In my time here I have been able to carve out my own paths through hard work that have led to multiple and very different, yet fulfilling roles. -Terakeet has made some recent changes to the leadership structure that has had immediate improvement on communication, professional development and has eliminated bottle necks for decision making. -Leadership is receptive to feedback and actively works to improve. While decisions may not always align with every individual’s expectations, it is clear that thoughtful consideration is given. -Transparency is a clear priority for leadership. In response to employee feedback requesting greater visibility, leadership has made intentional efforts to increase transparency while thoughtfully balancing the need for discretion and responsible communication. -Terakeet is consistently evolving to meet the changing needs of its clients and the industry. The company continuously adapts its tools, processes, and strategies to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and a competitive edge in a rapidly shifting landscape. -Compensation is fair and aligned with industry market standards, reflecting role responsibilities and performance expectations. -Terakeet values it employees. Most recent example I think of is Terakeet absorbed the increasing cost of our health insurance. -We are led by an all women executive team!

Cons

As anyone would expect we are experiencing some growing pains as we scale our reputation management business. Short staffed, so the day to day is currently hard. We still have some crabs in the bucket. Those are are disengaged at our company wide meetings, miss important information that is being shared. Without that information they are left to make their own (wrong) assumptions and start to spread unneeded negativity.
