Pros
Initiative, autonomy and creativity are valued in the international roles. Trust is the base of people management, in my experience, for international roles. Countries seems to have variability in the management style. Innovation is non-stop. I love the freedom that I have.
Cons
A lot of travel: if you dislike airports and airplanes you're better thiking twice before you apply for a regional role. Working with organizations across the globe can make the working day very long from time to time. Working with different countries requires constant adaptation.
