Pros

Not a good place to work

Cons

Working at this company has been an extremely challenging and disappointing experience, largely due to poor management and an unhealthy work environment. People demonstrated a consistent lack of professionalism, which significantly impacted both team morale and productivity. Communication was often unclear, inconsistent, and at times disrespectful. Constructive feedback was rarely provided—instead, interactions frequently felt critical without being helpful. There was little regard for employee well-being, and unrealistic expectations were set without proper support or guidance. The overall workplace culture felt toxic, with high levels of stress and minimal recognition for hard work. Collaboration was hindered by a lack of trust and transparency from leadership. Rather than fostering growth and teamwork, the environment often left employees feeling undervalued and discouraged.

Love working here, the people and culture and product are great.

Cons

Nothing really -- pretty grown up for a startup but still feels flexible and nimble

Pros

Flexible work schedule with the option to work remotely depending on the role. Benefits are reasonable, with a decent time-off policy and bonus structure. The company is working on challenging technical problems in the renewable energy sector and there are capable and motivated engineers across the organization.

Cons

Although salaries are reviewed annually, increases are typically small and do not keep pace with market changes. As a result, long-tenured employees can gradually fall behind newer hires in compensation, even when holding similar or more senior roles. Organizational alignment can also be difficult at times, with different groups operating somewhat independently, which slows decision-making and creates internal friction. Strategic priorities are not always clearly communicated across the company.
