Pros

Well-known brand name, which may look good on paper. Occasional exposure to large-scale projects.

Cons

Incompetent management at both local and HQ levels; lack of vision, leadership, and basic professionalism. Toxic work culture where bullying, discrimination, and disrespect, especially toward women, are tolerated or ignored and personal bias trumps performance. Constructive feedback and experience are not valued; skills are routinely dismissed, and growth is stifled. Little to no support from HR when serious issues arise. The emotional toll of working here has been long-lasting and deeply damaging. A key manager created a hostile work environment, targeting employees they personally disliked regardless of merit or results. After multiple complaints, the company eventually removed the country manager, but failed to address the broader toxic team dynamics. The individuals who contributed to the bullying and toxicity remain employed as well as promoted to higher management, and no meaningful changes were implemented beyond the said manager’s dismissal. A culture of silence and superficial “fixes” continues, where serious issues are brushed aside instead of properly resolved.

Pros

Prime Location: The office is situated in the heart of Playa Vista, which is an incredible area to work in. It’s walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, gyms, and other essential amenities. Top-tier Talent: The best part about working here is the people. My colleagues are exceptionally professional and experts in their fields. It is a high-density environment for learning, and you’ll constantly find yourself challenged by brilliant minds. Modern Workspace: The office environment itself is modern, well-maintained, and provides a great atmosphere for focused work.

Cons

Technical Gap in Management: There is a noticeable disconnect between the leadership and the engineering/research teams. Management often lacks a deep understanding of the technical complexities involved in projects, which can lead to unrealistic expectations or misaligned priorities. Lack of Transparency: Communication from the top down is often opaque. Decision-making processes aren't always clear, and it can sometimes feel like teams are siloed from the broader strategic goals of the company.
