Pros

They will meet with you at another location to do the initial paperwork and interview.

Cons

My general impression of temp agencies is that most of them just view their temps as revenue generators, and unfortunately, TelePro Group was no different. They talked me into an assignment at a company which was little more than a glorified boiler room telemarketing job. The management was extremely unprofessional, and the place was a revolving door with people either quitting or getting fired. They didn’t even have real desks and packed everyone in like sardines. Not once did I ever get a call from TelePro Group asking how things were going on the assignment. When the assignment ended, I was told they would look for something else for me, but I never heard from them again. I guess this was because I told them the truth about the place they had previously assigned me.

Pros

Never a bad vibe here. It's family-owned and managed by experienced folks who offer plenty of short-to-medium term assignments for a variety of companies and non-profits. Pay is $18/hour (or sometimes more, depending on the assignment). WFH only.

Cons

Didn't really experience any other than the usual network glitches that are typical of many WFH jobs.

Pros

Tele Pro is a really good company to work for either part-time or full-time, with the potential of landing a permanent position outside of their company. I began last September with a 1-Week/40-hour assignment, followed by several 20-to-30 hour per week projects that ultimately led to a permanent position by January 2017. The assignments are not hard-sell, traditional telemarketing but could best be described as customer outreach. No cold calls, quotas, or sales goals to reach, though you do need to make a certain number of outbound calls per shift (with virtually no in-bound call-receiving that I'm aware of.) Assignments might involve quick surveys of exisiting customers or doing follow-up calls of some sort. The approach is very "soft-sell" and that's also a reflection of the management style at Tele Pro. Curt and Reed are both easy-going and personable, which helps establish a comfortable and professional working environment. Work hours are usually between 9:00 and 5:00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening or weekend assignments here and there. Their Irving Park Rd. office is within walking distance of the Blue Line and they pay a living wage. I highly recommend them.

Cons

There are none but I got a good laugh out of the "8 flights of stairs" comment above !
