Pros

- Pay was top 10% for position. - First and second line sales management were very good. Fight for you, get in the trenches. Real managers who have been there and done it. - Product has rough edges, but solves a real problem and customers acknowledge that. - The problem space is cutting edge and will be a growth market for years to come. Can work here.. but make sure they pay you the $$$$$

Cons

- They took too much VC money and now are totally beholden to their investors. If *certain well known VC firm" says jump, they jump, says cut, they cut etc. - Founders are well below average. Out of touch with customers and the market as shown by product decisions driven by the founders overruling the product team. - In non sales/engineering functions there are a lot of early tenured employees who have been promoted beyond their abilities and have carved out little fiefdoms they protect. - HR was terrible. Extremely callous in how they laid people off. Founders not much better.

Pros

I’ve been at Teleport for about a year now, and the culture is one of the biggest reasons I enjoy working here. The ADR team, in particular, stands out. It’s a highly collaborative environment where people openly share what’s working, support each other, and are constantly pushing to improve. There’s a real sense of team over individual performance, which makes a big difference day to day. AD Leadership is another highlight. Managers are invested in coaching and developing each person. Hitting our numbers is important, but there’s just as much focus on growth, feedback, and helping everyone improve. At a company level, Teleport does a great job of keeping everyone aligned. The leadership team is transparent about where we are as a business, which builds trust and makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger. Overall, it’s a strong culture with clear goals, supportive leadership, and a team that genuinely wants to get better together.

Cons

Not many major downsides, but things can move quickly, so staying organized and adaptable is important.

Pros

Great VP of Sales and product that was differenciated.

Cons

Sales structure across the org and navigating the accounts. Difficult to make goal and most reps who did were the seasoned vets.
