Pros
DEI is said to be a focus and on the surface it appears that way. Yet people are seen to be let go for other reasons if you do not curry favor with the right people.
Cons
People have been terminated for less than honest reasons as they are in any other company (starting a paper trail on things outside the person's control) rather than placing the employee in another position. This has been done to many that the company wanted to eliminate the position the employee held. Many people that are placed on salary work far more hours than was agreed upon with no comp time offered. Currently people are being laid off, or rather, terminated because the company is undergoing their third "corporate image rebrand" in five years.
