Pros

The option to work in London, or the more rural office in Bracknell. A sensible culture around hybrid-working.

Cons

I will keep this feedback as objective and fact based as I can, avoiding an embittered monologue that you sometimes see on Glassdoor. Three things for you to consider before joining. For those of you who remember Indiana Jones entering the Temple of Doom, see these as the skeletons of previous explorers. 1. As of October 2024, the Glassdoor rating of the Ancoris CEO is 50%. This is an alarmingly low score. I would encourage you to check the CEO ratings of other companies you are considering - how do they compare? This is the first time the current CEO (Andre) has held a CEO position. Would you board a plane with a captain who has never been in charge of an aircraft before? And who 50% of their previous passengers would presumably never fly with again? 2. As of October 2024, despite many poor reviews on Glassdoor, Ancoris has not responded to one. Not even one. What does this action (or lack of) say about their culture? Do you think they listen to their employees? Do you think they want to change? It’s a shame, as many of the negative reviews are actually very carefully written and contain valuable insight. 3. The leadership culture is fixated on selling the company, and therefore motivated by short-term decision making. There is no longevity in mind. The focus is to make the numbers look good, and follow the latest tech hype - you only have to look at their website and count the number of times they use the terms "AI-native" (what does that even mean?), and “Gen AI”. This fixation likely stems from a large PE investment Ancoris received in 2021, and PE firms typically work on a 4-5 year exit window. You deserve to be valued. We spend a lot of time at work, more time than with our loved ones. Good luck. And remember, people don’t leave poorly performing companies - they leave poorly performing people.

Pros

Telana's on a serious upward trajectory — exciting new customers coming on board and a leadership team that knows where it's going. Proper autonomy and plenty of scope to grow — you're trusted to run with things yourself. Smart, down-to-earth people. Sociable and supportive — easy to feel part of from day one.

Cons

No concerns, I could not recommend Telana enough

Pros

Hybrid working Little pressure from upper management and no micromanagement Lots of great, talented people Supportive culture

Cons

Just not a strong player in the partner world of Google and Microsoft. Reps often scrap hard to find opportunities with customers to take to the vendor, but this rarely happens the other way around. Targets are super unrealistic, therefore reps earn way below their OTE
