Pros
Many departmental and interdepartmental team members exhibit and nurture a culture of inclusion and team work. The gratitude and acknowledgement from fellow employees, regarding hard work, knowledge base, and willingness to help is abundant.
Cons
Company policy is for remote managers to “meet” weekly with their remote direct reports but some managers will go weeks and months without direct and initiated communication. This leaves employees hanging out to dry, believing they are doing their job, only to find out there were mistakes made many months before. I hear more from other managers than my own.
