      Pros

      Beautiful location. Small company where you can have high visibility. Tektronix has been in business for a long time so you have much stability with them.

      Cons

      Owned by Danaher. Upper management at Danaher doesn't always understand Tektronix business. Layoffs. Salary decrease. Losing ground to Agilent. Company morale was low.

      Extremely smart engineers in Oregon, generally has a decent culture, invincible brand name

      Cons

      Company profit isn't being reinvested into itself, parent company controls all profit. This can be seen in lack of NPIs.
