Friendly and frank, but set in their ways.

TECT, from an Mfg Estimating & a Data Analytic s perspective, TECT is an archaic company. They have no financial, by-part history, they do not collect operation performance metrics, IE Time Standards, utilize previous NC Models and/or Part definition, in a data driven manner, nor did they seem interested or realize the value in capturing those data sets. There is no effort to correlate Engineering, Operational and Financial Data, that is generated in their day to day course of business, with each other. Their BOE consists solely on Manufacturing Engineer's Subject Matter Expert judgement, against a WBS of their creation, that the shop floor is scheduled too. Their stance is that their SOW is forever changing, and the idea of deriving correlations driven by material type, % of Raw Mtrl removal against the Volume of the End Item Definition, and the formulation and application of a Realization Factor, was completely foreign to them, and was not seen as value added in their current business environment. In the modern Data Analyst skill sets that Mfg Estimating is quickly evolving into, frankly their Estimating methodology is inept.
