Pros
While many science journalism internships have interns for fact checking and what feels like busy work, Technology Review throws their interns into the deep end and treats them immediately like a staff reporter. This is place to get a lot of clips, participate in every editorial meeting, and engage in very helpful discourse with the editors.
Cons
It can be a bit difficult for those with little experience in journalism to be thrown into the thick of hunting down stories, interviewing and chasing sources, and pitching stories. There wasn't an intern guidebook, and the freedom might be off-putting to some. Also, the internship was about 2 months, which seemed a bit too short.
