Pros

Compensation package( but low job security ) lunch & learn program

Cons

Technip is composed of several business units: Subsea, Onshore, Offshore and... My comments refer to Onshore and Offshore business units in Houston office: 1- They prefer to hire incompetent but cheap engineers 2- They are performing really bad in EPC projects and they don't have any idea how they should run EPC projects. 3- They are just good in coping engineering documents from previous projects . This can be done easily by incompetent young engineers who are normal on visas from India 4- They look at EPC project as a FEED project so they just think they should give out(COPY) technical deliverable out without ANY IDEA THAT THIS WILL LEAD TO WRONG PURCHASE AND WRONG CONSTRUCTION at job sites. 5- They try to use cheap man hours of India so the responsible engineers who sit in Asia don't have any idea what are going on in real project. 6- They failed in all EPC projects in onshore downstream business units.
