Pros
Technip was a place that worked hard to recruit smart and talented engineers, put them to work on the right projects, and run those projects well. In the ten-plus years that I was there, the market had its ups and down, but there was always important work to do.
Cons
Like a lot of EPC contractors, Technip needed to participate in the reorganization of the industry to survive. Some mergers work better then others and its hard to predict why things don't work out.
