Pros

There are some great people that work there. I just don't know why they work there.

Cons

The CEO. I liken working at TMR to being an unfairly parented young child. You only get the punishments, you don't get the treats. I'm not sure how employees stay motivated. You never know when you do anything right, but will quickly know when you did something wrong. You will work harder, not smarter. You will get less accomplished because of this, but then be accused of doing nothing. You must be willing to gravel in submission to feed her ambition. So, let me ask a few questions and make a few comments all at the same time. Since everyone in the company reports to one person, it would behoove that person to be in every interview, (yes, or no?). Being in every interview might increase retention since everyone has to work the same way she prefers to work (yes, or no?). I would think that one would create a hierarchy (yes, or no?). You should exercise your authority for more than dictating and terminating (yes, or no?). I can't speak for anyone else, but money doesn't motiviate me enough to be at a place like this. I'd rather be broke. It's interesting because, if my skills are on point (which I know they are), she probably thinks everyone who posts here is just another disgtruntled employee that got fired. This is laughable to me, because she doesn't know that you're better off that way. I would never be disgruntled about leaving here, whether I quit or got fired. I'd just know that I never should have started in the first place. Hindsight is 20/20, right?

Pros

A good place to start out.

Cons

There is no room to move up, if you get a tier 1 help desk role you will likely stay there and are better off moving to a different company. I liked some of the higher-up management, but I felt a lot of my coworkers created a hostile environment. More experienced peers get annoyed by questions, talk badly of customers and gossip, are often late and not as productive as they should be, etc. At times it feels like they prefer that over employees who show up on time and are productive.
