Pros
A lot of professional training, a Budget for development and equipment. Nice people.
Cons
Legacy projects. Untransparent decision-making regarding projects. Distance between management and developers. Lower salary than the market median. Pretending to be a "family" company is what I personally do not like.

Pros
Personal training budget that you can spend as you like. Office is not open plan, they have rooms with 2-3 people in each room. Company events, like christmas dinner and a yearly retreat. No overtime, home like feeling.
Cons
Projects are ranging from 1-2 week maintenance tasks to several years greenfield projects. But there is no rotation of people so if you are selected to maintenance guy you will do it forever. Your salary is not adjusted with inflation, so with an average inflation ( 4% ) you will lose 12% of your salary if you stay here for 3 years. This causes high turnover, the staff is replaced in 5 years except a very few.
