Pros

Interesting place. They pay well but are a cheap with benefits. A decent environment with space and time provided to finish projects. Great Project Manager. Hours were flexible and they worked with my school schedule. Nothing hectic about the workflow

Cons

Not much in the way of Leadership or communication. I am an admirer of the owner but he was rarely there. I witnessed markedly bad behavior from the president far too often. There appeared to be a trickle down attitude of negativity and if you weren't one to make fun of others, or speak in a caustic manner, you were excluded. Young Developers are ignored. Lots of employee turnover.

Cons

If you are not a good engineer, there's no place to hide.

Pros

Software developers work across a variety of technologies to produce ideal solutions across several companies. I learned new languages and emerging frameworks, and directly implemented that knowledge in production code. Coworkers were extremely helpful and friendly. Work-life balance was prioritized by leadership such that no unrealistic expectations were impressed upon the teams.

Cons

The salary and benefits offered were subpar compared to industry standards. The leadership team was opaque about ongoing trends in the business and did not project confidence unto the company writ large. The company was forced to lay off ~15% of their workforce during COVID as soon as the PPP loan ran out, despite maintaining that there would not be lay offs.
