Pros

Some good opportunities, engaging events.

Cons

- "Flexible" working hours not a pro, most of the marketing team came in around 10am but would stay till 11pm or midnight. - International team but people were of a similar mold. Those who weren't were pressured to conform. - People go behind your back to complain to manager. - Shaming you if you're Singaporean but don't sound Singaporean - Pressure to join lunches even with dietary restrictions - Gender bias is shocking - a guy and girl were good friends and chose to sit next to each other at work. The girl was told off by management, but the guy wasn't. - Stress from KPIs, and a lot of blaming of employees by upper management. In short, toxic shaming work place. Not worth the emotional stress.

Pros

Tech in Asia is the right place for you for people who are driven by vision, results, and data. The company allows you to speak any ideas you have regardless your position because of it has flat hierarchy. Flexibility is beyond what you can imagine as long as you can get your things done (bold, highlight, underline). The honesty and integrity can be seen from everyday's work on the articles, communication to the employees, discussions, even the company's earnings & spendings. C levels are only a Slack away, so easily to reach.

Cons

The company runs so fast and challenges us to work effectively everyday. We probably have thousands of ideas, more than what we can handle at 1 time. So it'll be a perfect match for people who love working independently and creatively, who are able to identify when to pause and say no with clear priorities. But it will be a complete torture for those who admire bureaucracy and old traditional ways of thinking.

Pros

Great company with excellent leadership, and a culture that values hard work and achievement but also respects work/life balance and allows employees a lot of freedom in terms of how they complete their tasks.

Cons

It's a startup, which can be challenging if you're not used to that sort of lifestyle. The company is very data driven, which means there may be quick pivots in new directions and you've got to be able to keep up and remain flexible.
