Pros

There are a lot of genuinely good people at TeamSupport who care about their work and about each other. Team collaboration is strong, and most employees are trying to do the right thing for customers. There’s no shortage of effort or commitment from the people doing the day-to-day work.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company is held back by its leadership. A co-founder still has significant decision-making power but lacks vision and strategic direction, muting the impressive product team. On top of that, the CEO has brought toxicity to the culture by openly insulting employees in meetings and even made inappropriate comments about employees’ weight. HR doesn’t appear to have the influence or the will needed to meaningfully address culture or people concerns, which leaves employees feeling like issues go unresolved. Without clearer strategy and stronger cultural consistency, it’s difficult for the company to fully capitalize on the talent it has. Join if you want to work diligently to make sure the CEO, and investors receive the maximum amount of return on their shares.

Pros

Joined recently and it's been awesome. Lots of investment in the product, great team and great leadership. Remote work is awesome and they get the team together once a month for lunch.

Cons

This is not a coasting job where you can hide during the day in the remote world.

Pros

It was a growing company. I had high hopes when I joined. I never even dreamed that it would turn out to be so bad. You can read below for more.

Cons

It was probably the most stressful job I've ever had. Things were chaotic, and the leadership always made the same excuse- we are growing. They made fake promises that things would be better soon, but it never happened. Job security was a primary concern here. I saw two mass layoffs in short order. It was enough to create fear in my mind. The people at the top did nothing to eliminate that fear. Another pain point was the benefits. They were so low that they seemed like a horrible joke. The benefits for family members were simply ridiculous. It's better if we had the choice not to opt for them.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective. While we’re sorry to hear that your experience was stressful, we do want to clarify a few points for anyone reading this today. First, regarding job security: the events described reflect a period more than two years ago. Since then, the company has undergone a leadership change and we have not had any layoffs in over two years. Stability and clear communication have been a deliberate focus for the current management team. Second, on benefits: our benefits offering today is materially different than it was in the past. We now also heavily subsidize employee premium on several medical plan options, and we continually review our benefits to ensure they are competitive and responsive to employee feedback. Periods of growth can certainly feel chaotic, and we acknowledge that we didn’t always get everything right historically. That said, we believe the company today is in a much stronger, more stable place—with clearer direction, improved benefits, and a leadership team committed to transparency and continuous improvement.
