Company is a sinking ship. Management has their heads in the sand. Mostly male dominated leadership with outright sexist viewpoints- example: "You're a woman, make some coffee." is a common place statement. Work/Life balance is completely absent. Unrealistic expectations from employees- example: When there is severe weather (schools closed/TDOT says stay off the roads) management stays home, but the offices remain open and it is expected that lower-level employees risk their safety to report to work. Additionally, office closure notices on inclement weather are sent too late often after many employees have already arrived to work or are enroute making it difficult to plan and (again) unsafe conditions for those employees. Company frequently says one thing but then implements practices that are opposite to that. Accountability is nonexistent leading to high-paying positions with employees who do nothing but cost the company money. Company throws money out the window needlessly, but can't give bonuses to hard working employees. Frequently "eliminates positions" and puts the work on already overwhelmed employees, but doesn't compensate them for an increased work load. Company makes terrible decisions regarding acquisitions which become a financial and logistical nightmare for employees who have to sort through the fallout. Communication within the company is so abysmal that tasks just continuously fall through the cracks. The company has tried to implement all these new processes often times worsen an already bad situation. Back in the Staley days there were never this many issues. Providers actually wanted to work for the company back then, there was accountability, and employees actually mattered to the company. I guess everyone is dispensable now as long as the group at the top gets paid. If things continue down this road eventually they will be out of a job too. What a train wreck. Would not recommend company to ANYONE.
