Cons

Management can't get it together, no matter what they tell you to do, you're always doing it wrong and you will always get in trouble for it. Management never admits fault. Don't count on the bonuses because there's a 99% chance you'll receive some sort of write up just before they're supposed to come out disqualifying you from them. Management/Supervisors are young in the Southeast group and have no prior experience leading a team and are huge micro managers. Training is a JOKE! They sit with you for maybe a half of a day and try to "teach" you and then expect you to know it all, and if you don't, expect a termination call. If you're hired through a temp agency do not expect to get hired on unless the team before you basically walks out and they're desperate. They bring people on for 6 months or longer (can be hired at 3 months) then let them go and bring in a new round of folks, leaving the permanent team members assignments consistently changing and they NEVER assist with your work if you feel overwhelmed (unless you're a favorite). Favoritism shines in this group. If you love kissing butt, this is the job for you. If not, AVOID THIS COMPANY! Worst 2 years of work in my life.

Pros

I’ve had a very positive experience working at TeamHealth. The organization truly prioritizes both its patients and its employees, which creates a strong sense of purpose in the work we do every day. One of the standout aspects is the collaborative and supportive culture. Leadership is approachable, communicative, and invested in helping teams succeed. There’s a genuine focus on continuous improvement, and employees are encouraged to share ideas and be part of driving change. TeamHealth also offers strong opportunities for growth and development. Whether it’s through formal programs or on-the-job learning, there’s a clear commitment to helping employees advance their careers. The company does a great job recognizing contributions and fostering a sense of belonging across teams. Pros: Supportive and engaged leadership Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunities for career growth and development Meaningful work that impacts patient care
