Pros

Working at TeamHealth, has been one of the most refreshing and rewarding professional experiences of my career. The leadership team embodies a level of trust that's rare to come by. The non-micromanagement style of leadership really allows one to flourish and remain unbothered as long as expectations are being met. I am given my own space to make decisions, bring forward new strategies, and own my work..all while maintaining a great work-life balance. TeamHealth's mission, vision, and values allow you to make a difference and leave the world a better place than you found it. After working at a fortune 150 company, the differences between the two are stark and TeamHealth has built themselves up to becoming a real disrupter and game changer in the industry for quite some time.

Cons

As a recruiter, it would always be nice to offer candidates whatever compensation requirements they feel they are entitled to, but business is business and inevitably that's not feasible. Every once in a blue moon, you lose out on some solid external talent due to compensation differences...other than that no complaints.

Pros

Lots of autonomy, Decent pay if you are making bonus. Very competent colleagues. Complex patients. Opportunities to transfer due to size of org.

Cons

Weak connection between senior leadership and providers in the field. There is no 'culture'. You work within a multi-billion dollar company, owned by a trillion dollar private equity. Lousy benefits considering this. 3% match on 401k is below industry average. PTO is accrued, not automatic; the amount is 'just average'; especially compared to how much you'll work. No continuing education perks, like continuing education PTO or notable reimbursement. I received $2000/year at my last role. Lots of charting and lots of charting expectations.
