Pros

some very smart and capable coworkers that you can trauma bond with maybe a few big brands for your resume, although the projects will likely be disjointed

Cons

A culture of fear and lack of transparency that permeates the agency. people unceremoniously fired every few months. lack of process & structure. overworked underpaid junior staff in senior roles who lack management skills. The expectation is go above and beyond. The return is... below average salary, benefits and culture. Don't expect raises or promotions, even if you're a top performer. team epiphany is obsessed with "culture" yet couldn't be more out of touch with what's culturally relevant. how can you be when you're so attached to such backwards ways of working.

Pros

There is a talented group of people here committed to working hard and bringing incredible projects to life, even in less than ideal circumstances.

Cons

Leadership and management at this company is nonexistent. The leadership team is a best friend clique which leads to a culture of unprofessonalism. Most of the leaders spend more time gossiping about their employees than helping them. There is a general lack of respect for coworkers, which starts at the top and trickles down throughout the company. When things don’t go as planned there’s chaos, yelling, and finger pointing which makes for horrible company morale and impossible departmental cross-function. There are little to no processes in place, roles are not clearly defined, and everything lacks organization, making it extremely difficult to work efficiently. As a result, you’ll frequently work late and on weekends - you’ll never be fully offline. Your overworking will go unnoticed and unrewarded since it’s the norm. The level of pay is drastically low compared to the industry standard and compared to the amount of work you’re expected to do. The company knows this and they don’t care. If you’re considering working here and you’re thinking, “Working on cool projects will outweigh the cons”, I promise you it won’t.
