Pros

Somehow, this company manages to hire some awesome people. They don't retain any of them, but they hire them. If you're new to the area, independently wealthy and don't have any friends...this would be the place for you.

Cons

I was drawn in by a passion for learning and a specific interest in education technology. Given that this company does not nurture or develop its own employees, I believe claiming the ability to affect positive change in teacher development is gross hypocrisy. The management is ineffective. The culture of backstabbing and information hoarding that they have developed leads to a total deficit of cross-functional collaboration. Many of them have little to no background in technology. Further, given that their only value proposition is a software tool, their commitment to manual repetitive inefficient processes is unequaled by the rest of mankind. Also, to the previous reviewer who claimed good job stability...I've been there for less than a year and there have already been 2 major layoffs.
