The people here are truly amazing, full stop! It’s an incredibly talented and technically proficient team, not only building a great product but also pushing forward research in the education space. Everyone is eager to build cool things without ego, which makes collaboration a joy. Because of the small team size, I gained experience across a wide variety of projects and felt trusted to take ownership of my work. The culture is open, supportive, and encourages new ideas. Special shoutout to Berk Coker who led the engineering team, he is an outstanding mentor/leader.

the team was relatively small, so you may be asked to do things outside your comfort zone. But everyone is very understanding and willing to help when needed.

The team is truly incredible. Many are former teachers, and all are committed to furthering equity in education and better supporting teachers to do their best work. People work hard, but are also respectful of one another's lives outside of work -- it's not the kind of culture where the CEO is regularly Slacking you on evenings and weekends. Everyone truly wants this to be a sustainable place to work. Lots of parents of young children.

Communication and alignment can be a challenge in a remote work setting, especially in a startup where there's so much going on simultaneously. We often have to remember to overcommunicate.
