Pros

You get to suffer along side 80 other people

Cons

- promises of promotion that end up not happening -new projects and responsibilities without compensation -encouraged to apply to positions that just get filled by friends of higher ups -no pay increases -no overtime -poor benefits -poor managers that play favorites and create an unenjoyable work environment -a lot of feel good talks and false encouragement

I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with your role. I'm happy to announce that one of your co-workers was just promoted to a manager position as of June 1st. Outside of your specific department our goal is hire 50% of our leadership from within and the other 50% external in order to diversify the experience in the leadership pool. I recognize that in your area only 1 out of the 5 have been promoted, but there are other internal promotions happening as well (for example, the person that just moved into a manager position came from the SME's - which will open up this position for an internal candidate as well). I am available to review the bonus plan with you at any time - just ask for 30 minutes on my calendar and I'm happy to review it with you for clarity!

Pros

The paychecks don't bounce, at least as far as I experienced. You'll never ever have time to be bored, if you could call it that.

Cons

Completely toxic work environment, through and through. Ignores requests for Disability accomodations, uses the information gleaned from that process to institute write-ups. PIPs are their favorite tool ever, beside death from overwork.
